چکیده

Abstract Biomass is often referred to as a carbon–neutral energy source, and it has role in reducing fossil fuel depletion. In addition, biomass can be converted efficiently into various forms of biofuels. The conversion processes involve several thermochemical, biochemical, hydrothermal methods for treatment integration. most common routes produce biofuels include pyrolysis gasification processes. On the other hand, supercritical water (SCWG) liquefaction (HTL) are best suitable converting waste with high moisture content. Despite promising efficiencies, SCWG HTL introduce operational issues obstacles industrialization these technologies. process safety aspects due operation conditions, plugging solid deposition, corrosion, pumpability feedstock, catalyst sintering deactivation, production costs. address reactor configurations avoid optimizing conditions minimize issues. However, there only few studies investigating main scope, reviews seldomly available this regard. Therefore, further research required problems. Gasification of biomass in supercritical water (SCWG)

Conversion of wet biomass via gasification in supercritical water is a promising technology for the production of hydrogen and methane from renewable resources. The properties of water above the critical point enable reactions for the fast degradation of biomass and generation of a product gas consisting of hydrogen, methane, higher hydrocarbons and carbon dioxide without disturbing sulphurand ...

Catalytic gasification of glycerol in supercritical water

The conversion of glycerol in supercritical water (SCW) was studied at 510 – 550°C and a pressure of 350 bars using both a bed of inert and non-porous ZrO2 particles (hydrothermal experiments), and a bed of 1 % Ru/ZrO2 catalyst particles. Experiments were conducted with a glycerol concentration of 5 wt% in a continuous isothermal fixed-bed reactor at a residence time between 2 and 10 s. Hydroth...

a contrastive analysis of concord and head parameter in english and azerbaijani

Analysis of a Supercritical Hydrogen Liquefaction Cycle

A supercritical hydrogen liquefaction cycle is proposed and analyzed numerically. If hydrogen is to be used as an energy carrier, the efficiency of liquefaction will become increasingly important. By examining some difficulties of commonly used industrial liquefaction cycles, several changes are suggested and a readily scalable, supercritical, helium-cooled hydrogen liquefaction cycle is propos...

Process Design for Supercritical Water Gasification

In this paper the layout of pilot plant (100 kg/h) for the supercritical water gasification (SCWG) of biomass is proposed. The proposed layout involves a reactor, units to separate water and hydrogen, a burner and several heat exchangers. This scheme was also simulated by means of the commercial software Aspen Plus (Aspen Tech, Inc.) in order to state the influence of different parameters such ...
